Hurricanes dominate Devils; Stars beat Kraken in NHL Playoffs

* The Carolina Hurricanes dominated in Game 4 of the playoffs, beating the NJ Devils 6-1 on Tuesday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference series. Jordan Martinook had a goal and two assists and the Hurricanes scored five times in the middle period to defeat the Devils, while Martin Necas scored twice and Brett Pesce, Jesper Fast and Brent Burns added goals; and goaltender Frederik Andersen made 21 saves.

Game 5 between the Hurricanes and Devils will be held on Thursday, May 11th at 7:00 pm in Raleigh, North Carolina.

* The Dallas Stars beat the Seattle Kraken 6-3 on Tuesday night in Game 4 to even the Western Conference series at 2 games apiece. Joe Pavelski scored his sixth goal of the series as part of the Stars’ four-goal second period, while Jamie Benn scored late in the first period to give Dallas the early advantage, and defenseman Thomas Harley made it 2-0 early in the second period.

The Stars and Kraken will face off in Game 5 on Thurs, May 11th at 9:30pm in Dallas.
