Fruits #1: Berries

Berries, including blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and red raspberries, are some of the healthiest fruit choices. Berries are full of antioxidants that help reduce oxidative stress. In addition, they are nutrient-dense and fiber-rich, which help stabilize blood sugar and help reduce inflammation, which is all essential to improving the health of your brain.

Veggies #2: Leafy Greens

Leafy greens, including spinach, kale, watercress, arugula, and chard, are rich in fiber, phytonutrients, vitamin C, A & K, and folate. All of these nutrients are essential for healthy neurotransmitter production (dopamine and serotonin). In addition, leafy greens are anti-inflammatory and help slow cognitive decline.

More Veggies #3: Eat a veggie Rainbow

Bell Peppers, Cauliflower, broccoli, and tomatoes are bright in color and have full rainbow benefits. All of these veggies are rich in fiber, phytonutrients, Vitamin C and Vitamin A. Because of their fiber content, they are great for improving the health of your gut, which is essential to the health of your brain.

Even More Fruits #4: Melons

Melons including cantaloupes, honeydew melon, and watermelon are great for hydration as they are primarily made up of water. Additionally, they are rich in vitamin C, an excellent antioxidant, and cortisol production to help you fight off stress.
